We carried out our research at the Bonin islands, which are located about 1,000 km away from the Tokyo Metropolitan in the North Pacific.They are registered to the National Heritage Site in 2011. They are rich in native creatures and plants. We observed the following:-

1, Plants which were settled and adapted to life in the volcanic islands like the Bonin islands.

2, Effects caused by an introduced species on the ecosystem.

3, Composition of Mt. Asahi that is similar to Yokohama woods.

4, Vegetation of the spawning place of green turtles.
