Narrative samples of young children provide snapshots of numerous interconnected language skills and learning. Ariel Basden’s research project investigates the effects of animated v.s. static stimuli on children’s constructed narratives. Basden also investigates gender differences when it comes to narrative abilities in response to the different forms of stimuli.
